Life Review
Look Back with Gratitude • Understand Your Life’s Story • Foster Acceptance & Well-Being
Life review is a guided process of reflecting on the story of your life — honoring what has been lived in ways that bring clarity, peace, and wisdom to the present.
My Approach
Life review draws from traditions in psychotherapy, humanistic and existential psychology, and narrative reflection. Together we explore the significant chapters of your life with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the complexity of your lived experience.
My work integrates the depth of psychotherapy with the forward-looking orientation of coaching. While we reflect on the past, the purpose is not simply recollection — it is integration. By revisiting important memories, relationships, turning points, and challenges, many people discover new perspectives on their lives and themselves.
At times we may explore emotional themes, unfinished experiences, or the different “parts” of yourself that have emerged across various stages of life. The process is reflective, respectful, and paced according to your comfort.

Who This Work Is For
Life review can be meaningful at many stages of adulthood. Some people feel drawn to this work during midlife, when questions about meaning, identity, and legacy naturally arise. Others seek it later in life as a way of honoring the richness of their lived experience.
This process is especially meaningful for individuals who appreciate thoughtful reflection and are interested in exploring the deeper narrative of their lives — not only what has happened, but the meaning they have made.
Reflecting on one’s life can be a deeply enriching experience — one that often brings greater clarity about both the past and the path ahead.
How the Process Unfolds
Life review typically unfolds as a series of conversations exploring different chapters of your life. Together we may reflect on formative memories, family and cultural influences, turning points, relationships, accomplishments, losses, and periods of growth.
Rather than following a rigid structure, we allow your story to emerge organically. Along the way we may notice themes, patterns, and insights that bring new understanding to your life as a whole.
Many people find that this process allows them to see their lives with greater compassion and perspective, integrating both joys and struggles into a more complete and meaningful narrative.
Structure & Timeframe
Life review can take place over a series of weekly or biweekly sessions, typically spanning several months depending on the depth of exploration desired.
Some clients approach life review as a defined reflective project, while others weave it into a longer course of therapy or coaching. The structure can be adapted to suit your goals and interests.
